A site manager from construction company Morganstone has been awarded with a highly commended award at the South Wales Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Warranty Site Manager Awards 2016.
Ceri Hughes fought off tough competition to pick up the prize at a prestigious event on Friday April 29 at The Vale Resort, South Wales.
The award recognises the outstanding contributions that site managers make as well as their vision for quality in construction. The award relates to Hughes’s work overseeing the award-winning Maes y Ffynnon site, a Pennant Homes development, situated in Gorslas, Carmarthenshire.
On site Hughes has managed the work relating to the 2, 3 and 4 bedroom new build homes that have been introduced to the South Wales housing market by Pennant Homes.
Ceri Hughes said: “Winning the highly commended award for the work on Maes y Ffynnon is just incredible. This award is not just for me, but for everyone who is working with me at the development.”
Ian Morgan, managing director of Morganstone, said: “I am delighted that Ceri has won such an outstanding award for all of his hard work and dedication at Maes y Ffynnon. We hold Ceri in very high esteem here at Morganstone and it is a privilege to work alongside him.”
